1. About Us
Inventory Clerk Direct is a paid directory service operated by Oisín Higgins of inventoryclerkdirect – Connecting independent property inventory clerks with landlords and letting agents across the United Kingdom. By purchasing a territory listing or using this website, you agree to these terms.
2. Directory Listings
2.1 Inventory Clerk Direct provides directory listing services only. We are not a party to any transaction, agreement, or arrangement between a listed clerk and any landlord, letting agent, or third party.
2.2 We do not employ, endorse, verify, or guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of any clerk listed on this directory. Listings are published based on information provided by the clerk.
2.3 We do not guarantee that any listing will generate enquiries, leads, or bookings. The directory is a marketing platform and results will vary.
3. Territory Purchases
3.1 Territory listings are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a territory is purchased, it will not be sold to another clerk for the same geographic area while the listing remains active and in good standing.
3.2 Territory pricing is fixed at the time of purchase and is based on population tier. Prices are subject to change for new purchases but existing listings will not be retrospectively repriced during their active period.
3.3 All purchases are subject to our approval process. We reserve the right to decline or remove a listing at our sole discretion, including where we believe a submission does not meet our quality standards or where false or misleading information has been provided.
3.4 In the event a listing is declined following purchase, a full refund will be issued within 14 days.
4. Search Engine Rankings and Visibility
4.1 Inventory Clerk Direct makes no guarantee of search engine rankings, page position, or visibility on Google or any other search engine. Search rankings are determined by third-party algorithms outside of our control and are subject to change at any time.
4.2 We do not guarantee that any individual location page will appear on the first page of search results, or that any specific level of traffic or enquiries will be generated.
4.3 No refunds will be issued based on search engine position, traffic levels, or enquiry volume.
5. Listing Content
5.1 You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted in your listing is accurate, up to date, and not misleading.
5.2 You must not include content that is defamatory, unlawful, or infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
5.3 We reserve the right to edit, suspend, or remove any listing that we deem to be in breach of these terms, without notice and without refund.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
6.1 Territory listings are non-refundable once a listing has been approved and published, except where a listing is declined by us prior to publication.
6.2 If you wish to cancel your listing, you may do so by contacting admin@inventoryclerkdirect.co.uk. No refunds will be issued for unused listing periods.
6.3 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
7. Liability
7.1 Inventory Clerk Direct is a directory platform only. We accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury, dispute, or claim arising from any interaction between a clerk listed on this directory and any landlord, letting agent, tenant, or other third party.
7.2 We accept no liability for any loss of business, loss of revenue, or loss of profit arising from the performance or non-performance of this directory, including changes in search engine rankings or traffic levels.
7.3 Our total liability to you in connection with your listing shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that listing.
7.4 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All content on inventoryclerkdirect.co.uk, including text, design, and code, is owned by or licensed to Ebor Property Co. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of this site without our prior written permission.
8.2 By submitting a listing, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your listing content, logo, and uploaded materials on this website for the purpose of operating the directory.
9. Data Protection
9.1 We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at inventoryclerkdirect.co.uk/privacy. By purchasing a listing, you consent to your business contact details being publicly displayed on this website.
9.2 We will not sell your personal data to third parties.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the directory following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify active listing holders of any material changes by email.
