Property Inventory Services in Dumfries and Galloway

Dumfries is the largest town in south-west Scotland, built from red sandstone on the River Nith and closely linked to Robert Burns. The University of Glasgow and other institutions have campuses here, and its rental market includes sandstone villas and flats, modern estates and homes in Annan, Lockerbie, Castle Douglas and Dalbeattie.

Older sandstone properties and rural homes bring damp, older heating and outbuildings that need careful recording. Under Scotland's rules, a detailed inventory is the evidence the deposit scheme relies on.

The Dumfries territory covers Dumfries and nearby areas including Annan, Lockerbie, Castle Douglas, Dalbeattie and Sanquhar.
